Elektromagnesy rurowe mają potężny rdzeń elektromagnetyczny w kształcie rury. Nadają się do filtrowania średnich do dużych zanieczyszczeń żelaznych z obfitych strumieni dużych produktów ze swobodnym spadkiem. Często stosowane do filtrowania np. materiałów o swobodnym przepływie, karmy zwierzęcej, tworzywa sztucznego, ceramiki oraz w przemyśle recyklingu. Elektromagnesy rurowe czyszczą się automatycznie, co sprawia, że są one odpowiednie do automatycznych procesów produkcji.
