Why calibrate a gauss meter?

A gauss meter is a precise measuring instrument. Due to use, ageing, temperature influences or damage to the measuring probe, measured values may deviate over time. Calibration checks whether the meter still measures within the permitted deviation. Regular calibration helps you with:
