Measuring equipment for magnets
For magnetic measurements on basic magnets we use the most cutting edge equipment.
To guarantee the highest quality of magnets and systems, we also carry out both production as well as post-production measurements. We use various measuring equipment for this. We record data which is relevant for us and our clients. In this way, we gain additional and quicker insight into the properties and the behaviour of a product in a certain environment or assembly.
Overview of measuring devices for magnet measurements:
- 3D CMM measuring machine: 3D measurements of magnets and non-magnetic materials.
- Flux meter 3D: Checking the magnetization angle.
- Gauss meter: Measuring the magnetic field.
- Helmholtz coil: Measuring the magnetic moment.
- Handheld XRF analyser: With this we carry out spectrum measurements using electro-magnetic radiation. This way, we gain insight into the material structure and quality.
- Optical 3D scanner: Measuring the full geometry of a permanent magnet.
- Permagraph: Determine the required magnetic specifications.
- Roughness tester: To check whether magnets and assemblies meet the roughness requirements.
