In the article, sales manager Aaron Berg explains the daily challenges of obtaining Chinese export permits for magnetic materials. Since China introduced stricter export controls in April, many companies face delays and uncertainty in their supply chains. Goudsmit is directly affected in the sourcing of high-performance magnets, such as Neodymium magnets, used in recycling, food safety, and high-tech industries.
Despite these challenges, Goudsmit continues to explore alternative materials and product design adaptations to reduce dependency on Chinese supply.
